At BestEDCKnife.net, we pride ourselves on giving back to our community. One of our more celebrated achievements is supporting talented individuals with our scholarship program. Education is a weapon that can change the world. Everyone deserves it, which is why we value it so highly.
Our program was created to support university students in the United States. Each year, we help one student further their education and achieve their dreams with a contribution worth USD $1,000.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply, you must meet the following criteria:
– Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school in the US.
– Must be a US citizen or hold a valid US student visa.
– Must hold a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.
Application Process
To apply, you should submit an original essay of at least 500 words in length on one of the following three topics:
- The history of everyday carry knives
- The need for everyday carry knives in today’s high tech world
- The importance of proper everyday carry knife storage and maintenance
Please note that all submitted work becomes the property of BestEDCKnife.net. You permit us to use your essay or parts of for our marketing and promotion purposes. Your essay may end up published on the website.

Along with the final copy of your work, please include your full name, the name of the school you’re attending, and official documentation showing your GPA. You may only apply once.
The winner will be contacted via email and have their name announced on the website.
Important Dates
The following are the dates to keep in mind for this year’s edition of the scholarship program:
- All submissions must be received by December 15, 2018
- All submissions will be reviewed by December 31, 2018
- The winner will be announced and contacted on January 7, 2019
